Six Sigma Capabilities
We are committed to refining our client processes through continual improvement projects designed on the basis of the Six Sigma framework. We are currently running several Six Sigma projects real time that enable us to save between 40-60% costs for our clients. Six Sigma trained professionals across the organization champion these projects in collaboration with the operations teams.
It is our sole endeavor to ensure we are all involved in the leadership team, to be Six Sigma trained professionals. This is besides the Quality team, which needs to be certified. Instead of an initiative, we would like to view Six Sigma as a culture, a common spoken language across the length and breadth of the organization.
At Godrej Upstream, Six Sigma is a rigorous and a systematic methodology that utilizes information and statistical analysis to measure and improve the organization’s operational performance, practice and systems. It identifies and prevents 'defects' in manufacturing and service related processes, in order to anticipate and exceed expectations of all stakeholders, to accomplish seamless effectiveness. |
